  1. Hold a ton, quiet and great price but finish is lacking. A few edges were really sharp. review by Ash on 2/2/2018
    Recommend

Love the functionality of these straps and you can't go wrong with the price but was disappointed in the finishing. A few edges on mine were really sharp and I cut up my hands a bit moving them around. I covered them in tape and will try to just leave them in place.

  2. Great function and price buut the finishing lacks. Mine were sharp in many places, cut my hand a few times, which made moving them an annoying. review by Ash on 1/28/2018

Safety straps are great! It's awesome to be able to lift without making a lot of noise. While these are completely functional I'm a bit disappointed. I don't expect great looking welds at this price point so that's not an issue for me but I had to wrap mine in gorilla tape because a lot of edges were really sharp. I cut my hand a few times before layering them in thick gorilla tape. Hopefully this holds up for awhile.

  3. Perfect addition! review by Dawn on 1/12/2018
    Recommend

These straps were the perfect addition to my T3 rack. Makes changing the height so much easier than using the rods.

  4. A must have review by David on 10/26/2017
    Recommend

As far as Im concerned, these are a must have. The best safety is on you'll use, and these are so much easier to use than pin/pipe safeties.

    - Basically doubles your safety height granularity - since you can adjust each side independently. Fantastic for bench.
    - Doesnt screw up your set if you accidentally hit them. Not a big jolt like you'd get if you accidentally hit a pipe.
    - Easier on your equipment.
    - Quieter

  5. For Squat Safeties review by Jordan on 10/9/2017
    Recommend

I favor these straps for use with my squats. I've failed reps at 430+ lbs and have had no issue with the straps holding the weight. They are easy to assemble, quick to adjust, and reliable under heavy loads. I wouldn't recommend them for us when benching (I prefer spotter arms for this: specifically Titan's flip down safety arms.)

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Titan. If you are on the fence about these, go with them. As of 10/9/17 they are also on sale!

  6. 4.5 Star Review, Great Hooks, Too long of a strap review by JK29 on 9/17/2017
    Recommend

End of the day I love these things. Been really waiting for a strap setup for the Titan T-3 Rack (24'').

    Notes:
1.) The straps that come with these safety (9/2017) are too long (29"). I ended up ordering a shorter set of axle straps and cut off the D-Rings. I ended up getting 24'' straps. The perfect strap length in my opinion would be 21''-22''. This is why I'd give these a 4.5 star instead of a 5 star.
2.) The hooks are very well constructed. Like I've mentioned in previous reviews, some of Titan's products have mediocre construction. I suspect this is because they outsource some of their stuff. HOWEVER, these must of been made locally because they are of much better quality than Titan's standard, mediocre J-Hooks.
3.) They're easy to move around and move out of the way.
4.) I've loaded up around 605 lbs on these and drooped it from around 1 inch on the straps. They performed well.

I primarily purchased these to better protect my bar if I bail from a squat. I try to set them around 2"-3'' below the hole of my squat. I also feel that they're better on a bar when doing rack pulls. It does reduce the reverberation though the bar when doing these which makes them more comfortable to do ("rack pulls" should really be done from blocks anyway...). I've also used these for bench with good results.
