We've used this bar for a few months now in my gym and are very happy with it (max load so far is 585#). It's a stiff bar, great for strength training. In my opinion the knurling is just right, sticky without biting. Finish is faultless. Bushings spin smoothly and evenly. It arrived and remains straight. I bought it as a spare bar for its low price but wound up using it regularly, there's something about its combination of diameter, finish, knurling, and stiffness that makes me prefer it to my other power bars (CAP, Rogue, and EFS).
The bar arrived within a week of ordering. Packaging could be better; the bar arrived undamaged, but its packaging was destroyed.
Gets the job done for a great price but the knurling is very passive. If you like passive knurling then its a 5 star bar but id prefer an aggressive knurling.
Having purchased cheap bars in the past and having them bend under very little weight I was hesitant to purchase this bar; however, I couldn't be happier with this bar. I primarily use this bar for powerlifting and have had zero issues with it, it is very stiff with very little flex even when deadlifitng around 500lbs. I'm sure there are aspects of this bar that wouldn't hold up when compared to the high end bars but for just over 100 dollars I doubt there is a better powerlifting bar on the market. I should also mention Titans shipping, which is free and everything I've ever ordered from them has arrived in within a week of ordering it .
This is a solid bar, at a very reasonable price!!
I purchased this barbell around black Friday which reduced the price to around $100. Looking back at it I would've been happier throwing that money at the Titan Atlas bar or a higher grade bar in general but after putting it to use the last couple of months I really don't have any qualms with my $100 purchase. When I ordered this it just had the 1,500lbs rating which can be a red flag for a cheaper bar but I see they've now updated to advise of the tensile strength which is rated around 190k. For a 30mm bar at 190k really wouldn't expect much whip if any due to the thicker shaft and as I'll describe, I don't use it for heavier pulls since the shaft is bigger which makes grip an issue. I've had it loaded with 405lbs for squats and it didn't seem to rebound or whip at all, so I'd say it's a pretty stiff bar in general. The knurl is very passive making it a great all purpose bar for pressing movements, high bar squats, and lighter pulls. The 30mm shaft size actually feels great while doing any pressing movements but is a tad bigger than I'd like for pulling for low bar squats. The sleeves don't offer a whole lot of spin and are on a little clunky but haven't posed any issues at this time. Aesthetically, the bar looks great. The chrome finished shaft and sleeves look nice, the sleeves are smooth which plates slide a bit more so you'll have to clip it, and the end caps have a very cool look.
Is it the best barbell you'll ever buy? No. But if you're looking for an all purpose beater bar that you won't mind tossing around, throwing in the landmine for some accessory work, and using for a bit of everything, I think this bar can be great for that. So in the low $100 price range, I think it's a competitive choice for an all purpose beater bar that will see a little bit of everything.
This barbell is very high quality and extremely durable. I can't believe how low it's priced. The knurling is pretty light but overall this is the best bar I've ever owned.
Bar arrived without a box, just wrapped in plastic that didn't even cover the entire bar. It was pouring rain the day it arrived and was sitting outside for 6 hours before I came home. Not too happy about that. Appreciate that it came quickly though (1 week). Knurling felt a little smooth but that could be from the oil. I wiped it before use but not very thoroughly.
This is a sturdy bar for an affordable price. Great knurling and built to handle some heavy weight.
Love this bar! For general lifting needs, this is as good as any of the high end bars I have used in the past. Knurling is aggressive enough for me, with chalk, and delicate enough for my wife. My only gripe is a small piece of the coating chipped off the end and got stuck in my hand while changing plates.
This bar is amazing for the price! At $130 this bar is a steal, came in perfect condition, not to mention with free shipping too! Rated to hold 1500 lbs 99% of lifters will never need anything stronger than this as long as you lift properly and take care of it.
Again highly recommend!
If you want a stiff bar to really build your strength, buy this one; this is proof you don't have to pay hundreds of $ for a good bar. Great knurling depth, clean chrome finish, well oiled collars. You can't really ask for more in a bar.
i purchased this power bar for its unbelievable price!! it's a beast with a capacity of 1500 lbs. it is the gem of my weight set!
I've had this bar for 3 1/2 months now and have used it exclusively for powerlifting lifts and variations. It's a great training bar and the knurling, while not aggressive, is fine for deadlifts with chalk. The quality is top notch, and I appreciate the Titan details at the ends. I plan on buying another one shortly so that I don't need to unload the weight for supersets.
Bar came today, looks good, delivered in 3 days, weighed in at 43lbs, knurls is same as my old cap bar. Will use it tomorrow, bottom line its a $99 bar rated for 1500lbs, I mean really $99! you cant lose on this one.
