Got this bench with the T2 rack. It went together easy enough, but does have some wiggle. The feet twist and the pad rocks back and forth only slightly, but is stable during lifts. I might have opted for the flat bench over the adjustable if I had the option. Other than that, its a good product that I use all of the time.
Looks great, feels great and super easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes total
Also super stable and easy to adjust! Definitely recommend to everyone who is looking for a bench!
Decent bench for the money. I feel the need to weld the feet to the base of it though. Even bolted tight to the point the metal bend in the feet still twist with the slightest hit or movement. Can't complaint too much as the exact same design bench by Cap Barbell is over twice the price and rated at less weight.
This is a pretty nice looking bench. The stitching for the logo is probably the best part about the bench. The construction of the bench looks pretty good, but the welding and condition of the frame is so-so. The bench frame was slightly off. By the time I connected everything, it was tilting like a bad table at a restaurant. Nothing like having something teeter on you... I'm hoping that in time it will settle, but I'm banking it'll take a really long time.
Overall the bench is solid. Anytime you have a bench with adjustments you will typically find "wiggle" . . . this locks down nicely. The only area where it fails is the base legs. There are 2 small screws that hold relatively thin metal together. If this area were to be reinforced with thicker metal and a 4 screw layout, it would eliminate the leg shift or offset that occurs. There is no amount of tightening that will address this. Hence you are adjusting the legs every so often to straighten them out.
Just received my incline bench yesterday and put it together in about 20min. Very easy set up and overall quality is solid. The weld's are just OK but good enough. There is a tiny bit of wobble on a flat surface that is not noticeable when lying on the bench. My foam pad came a little distorted on one side but it's just cosmetic. I have only 2 complaint about this bench. First is that the feet do not have any rubber covering, it is just steel. That means it can slide and scratch my platform. Second is that the bench is too high for powerlifting. The height is not mentioned in the descriptions or the pictures. When flat, the height of the bench is 19 1/2". IPF standards for bench is 16 1/2" to 17 1/2". The problem with it being so high is that my feet are not flat on the floor and so I cannot use leg drive for benching. This is a big problem for me and thus I am going to get another flat bench for my bench press needs. It looks like the titan flat bench is 17" which would be perfect. I will keep this incline bench for incline work for which it will do just fine.
Let start this off by saying I'm thoroughly impressed with this bench. I went back and forth with the idea of the Rouge flat bench, but settled on this on because the price of 108. I was thinking if it doesn't fit what I'm looking for it's only a 100 dollars not a big loss. I arrived in 3 days with the box was a little damaged but that's nothing could happened with the Fedex driver. I read a lot of reviews saying that it doesn't align properly, but I didn't have any problems. I followed the order the directions came with and everything fit just right. It's sturdy and way more than I expected, maybe they read the reviews and switched it up but it's just right. Now I'm thinking I should got the rack to go with it.
Great incline bench for all home gym needs. Easy enough to put together. Only complaint is that there's a little wiggle in the seat and back rest due to the space required for them to pivot around their bolts. This bench is much better than any bench I've used at a commercial gym because it is at least 4 inches wider than an average bench. Very pleased with my purchase.
Another awesome piece of equipment from Titan, quality product easy assembly, quick delivery! Love It!
Overall this is an insanely solid bench at this price point. Ordering and shipping was great. Assembly was not too difficult (took ~30 minutes to allen wrench everything together). Good instructions, easy enough for simpleton like me to follow.
Bench itself seems to be very well constructed. great padding and extremely solid.
Only very minor complaint is that it is a little bit taller than expected. I'm 5'10" and found my feet struggling to stay flat on ground during bench, not a huge issue but something all should be aware (especially if a smaller athlete).
Overall the bench is good. The top and bottom pads don't line up right and the bottom feet move a little too much but all in all not bad. I've purchased many other products from Titan and they last!
This bought this great bench along with the T-3 Series HD 36" deep Power Rack....
Both pieces of equipment are high quality, look great and were easy to assemble....
The bench took about 20 minutes to assemble after unpacking...No tools were required other than the allen key and wrench that came with the bench.....
I'm very happy with both the bench and Power Rack....
To be honest..... I was expecting an Ikea type assembly nightmare but that wasn't the case....Everything was very high quality and perfect....Thanks Titan.....
Titan Fitness has really impressed me. I've pretty much outfitted my whole gym with their equipment. This bench is excellent. Very wide and resembles a competition bench. Material isn't super grippy but nothing some chalk can't fix. Great product
This bench exceeded my expectations. The only critique I have would be longer bolts for the two bottom feet. I noticed that the base feet can move if they get hit.
Received my incline bench about a week ago, finally got around to getting it put together. Pricing was great, shipping was quick & it was simple to put together. Took me about half an hour to get it done. Only issue I had was the incline would not sit flush so I removed the bump stop, took out my Dremel & sanded a little off of it, did a test fit & BOOM no issues & it stays locked in place. Titan Fitness thanks again for providing his AWESOME product!!!
Same as Ryan's review. The back rest is slightly off. I believe the brackets on the main frame are off a bit from each other causing the backrest spine to be off once bolted on.
I have not tried the mallet yet
Just received this bench after waiting two months on back-order, and I'm fairly happy with my purchase, but there were some negatives. While assembling the bench, I had to grab a mallet and pound on the frame in order to get the seat and backrest frame to fit. After finishing the assembly, the seat was crooked from due to the frame not being the proper size, which was a bummer, but definitely not a deal breaker due to the price of this bench, and how sturdy it is.
Solid quality bench, love it. Titan continues to impress.
Fantastic Bench very heavy duty. Looks great blacked out. Functions flawlessly! Its made out of 3x3 thick tubing except for the bottom feet which are 3x2. It has a thick flawless coating/finish. The cushions are thick. It was shipped super fast mine arrived in just one day after I ordered it. It was simple to put together and included tools. I know I made a great purchase and it will be a terrific addition to my garage gym!
Got this yesterday and the package arrived in good condition, everything was packaged pretty well, seemed like they tried to save on packing materials but it held up well and arrived in perfect condition.
The bench itself was easy to assemble, only 2 pages of instructions, tools were provided. Took maybe 45 mins tops.
Once assembled I had to break it in and did a few sets of various workouts. Didn't notice any movement, it held up well... although I would expect this with most new products. Time will tell if it holds up. But the 600 lb capacity makes me feel pretty confident in it and I am very happy with the purchase. Especially since this is practically the same bench I was eyeing from a sporting goods store for 50 dollars more.
The only negative I have seen is with the padding. There is an edge that seems to be held in by staples and they aren't the kind that bend inwards, so it would be easy to pull the lining right off... I hope it lasts. Also the silver bar you use to adjust lines up perfectly with all of the holes except for when the bench is in the flat position. This isn't too much of a concern as it doesn't need to lock in as it is resting on the bar anyway and it completely supported.
Overall great buy and I placed my order for a T-3 rack yesterday as they just came back in stock and am stoked to start lifting at home.
Higher quality bench at very affordable price. Bench is very stable, no rocking motion once soever (long as you tightened everything up correctly)! I only gave bench a 4 star because I need to add 1/4 spacers on release latches to make a tight fit against the frame of the bench.
