This is a really good rower. Especially, for the price. The tension is just as good as the $1500.00 magnetic rower I use at the gym. The rower is very smooth and really sturdy. I'm 230 and it doesn't budge. That being said, I wish it allowed for a further forward stroke. I have plenty of room at 5'8" for my legs.
This is a good budget rower. Hopefully, as Titan expands it's product line, they eventually get a commercial air or air/magnetic rower. I'll probably buy one of those too. So far, everything I've bought from Titan has been very good to awesome. You definitely can't beat the price. I've never had any issues that customer service didn't fix either.
I have about 1000 rows on this now(4-5 sessions of 3-10 minutes). Smooth pulling action and the metal track and seat are smooth. Fairly simple to put together. The first two times I used it, the display/CPU system would not function properly. It would go into "stop" mode after about 90 seconds. I emailed Titan and they were going to investigate the issue. The next session it seemed to work properly. 2 more bouts since and everything seems to be fine. Not sure what caused it but it seems to have worked itself out. I think this is a nice rower for the price point. It's not heavy duty like a concept 2, but it's not $900 either. I was looking for an affordable rower to use for a warmup before lifting and 1 cardio session a week and this is perfect for my needs.
