I purchase 2 sets for my rack. I keep my 45 lb plates on the front pair and other plates on the back pair. This makes plate changes for squats, bench and Over Head Press very easy. Also the weight adds to rack stability.
I put off buying these for a few months after buying the rack. Amazing! i keep 3 45's on each side now to load with ease. I wish i bought them right away!
As pointed out by another reviewer, the end cap diameter overhangs the tube a little, so the tend to snag a pull off when changing weight plates. But that is minor.
They fit and seem sturdy.
Well worth the money I also use them for grab bars when doing squats with my safety squat bar to really hit the upper back and quads. Also drilled a hole in the ears of the weight holders and install them upside down and slide a pin in the ear so they stay up right on the rack if you don't drill the hole they just flop down. Now I can add a resistance band to each side of the barbell and the weight holder. Has I get half way through my rep the bands kicks in and adds more weight to the end of my rep.
I received my set a couple of days ago and they are a great add-on for anyone with the T-2 and no separate plate holder. Good quality and great price. Not sure what caused the back-order snafu, but other than that Titan has been great.
Like everything I've bought from Titan, this seems to be built very well. It holds weight like it's supposed to. The only drawback that I didn't anticipate with this product is that it inhibits you from placing the safety rails in the hole directly above where you put the plate holder (due to the rotating arm on the safety rails). In the future, I hope to upgrade to the T3 and get some sweet built-in plate holders. Until then, I've ordered one more set of plate holders. At $20 a pair, they're a steal.
i bought four total and put them in the bottom holes on the front and back of the rack. 45 lbs plates clear the floor and it really helps to weight down the rack.
